Class of 2027 Placement Exams Dates:
Holy Name awards merit scholarships to the students who score in the top 10% on the admissions exam. These students will be named Holy Name Scholar Students and will receive a tiered scholarship ranging from $1000 – $6000. This scholarship is renewable based on strong academic achievement and will be awarded in December.
Test fee – $20.00. If you would like to pay now, you can do so online - HN HSPT Online Payment - Please find the appropriate test date for your payment. Or, you may bring cash/check made out to Holy Name High School on the date of the test.
The Holy Name Admissions Office will be hosting a Parent Information Session on each testing date. The session will begin an hour before the test ends - 7:00pm on Wednesdays and 11:00am on Saturdays.

Students who receive higher scores on high school admissions tests:
The incoming Class of 2027 will be required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). All incoming freshmen will need a placement exam on file in order to fully submit an application.
We encourage students to test at Holy Name High School, but are welcome to test at other schools. Parent/guardians may submit their student's highest test score to the admissions team to be considered for scholarship and placement. Please email test results to admissions@holynamehs.com.
Holy Name will take a holistic approach when reviewing a student’s application, taking into consideration:
Upon acceptance, Holy Name will use a student’s grades (7th and 8th) and standardized test scores (MAP, IOWA, PLAN) to determine placement and schedule at Holy Name.
