Holy Name will be offering four High School Placement Test (HSPT) dates for current 8th grade students (Class of 2029). The dates are:
All incoming students will be required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) in order to fully submit an application.
We encourage students to test at Holy Name High School, but are welcome to test at other schools. Students can only test once at Holy Name. Parent/guardians may submit their student's highest test score to the admissions team to be considered for scholarship and placement. Please email test results to [email protected].
Holy Name awards merit scholarships to the students who score in the top 15% on the admissions exam. These students will be named Holy Name Scholar Students and will receive a tiered scholarship ranging from $1000 – $6000. This scholarship is renewable based on strong academic achievement and will be awarded and celebrated in December.

Holy Name takes a holistic approach when reviewing a student’s application, taking into consideration:
Upon acceptance, Holy Name will use a student’s grades (7th and 8th) and standardized test scores (MAP, IOWA, PLAN) to determine placement and schedule at Holy Name.
