Congratulations to senior Connor Preisel who has received scholarships to play baseball and study business at Miami University. In addition to his athletic scholarship, Connor earned Miami’s Merit Scholarship for his grades and a Bridges Scholarship after attending an overnight seminar on campus in November.
Miami was among the schools that recruited Connor to play baseball. He notes that he chose Miami because of its reputation for academic and athletic excellence, including its nationally ranked business school and its exceptional baseball program and coaching staff.
Connor identifies Yearbook and Design for Publication as his favorite class at HN. He also enjoyed CCP English, Speech, and Honors Anatomy and Physiology. Although these classes mostly fall outside Connor’s area of interest, he appreciates them for providing him with a well-rounded education. He says, “I feel that I am a better student because of these courses and the lessons I have learned in them.”
Connor encourages underclassmen to become involved in as many activities as possible. He says, “Find something you are interested in at HN and be a part of it because that is where you will find some of your best friends.”
Congratulations to Connor, and stay tuned for more senior profiles!
