Why Holy Name? I chose Holy Name because it excites me to be able to work in a place where God is present and welcomed with open arms. What is your favorite thing about Holy Name thus far? I love how willing everyone is to help out and contribute to a positive learning environment. What is your favorite part about your job (does not have to be HN-specific; could be your favorite part about being an educator, a campus minister, etc.)? My favorite part of being an educator is getting to know students and helping them grow into the young adults they are meant to be. Where is the most interesting place you have visited? The Otherworld Museum in Columbus, was a pretty interesting place. I would love to have secret doors and hiding places in my own house. What is one fun fact about yourself? A fun fact about me is that people always think I have a southern accent, but I am not from the south. Who or what inspired you to be in your position? I was inspired by my teachers, most specifically my 6th grade math teacher to become an educator. However, I was destined to become an educator from the tender age of 4. I was the type of kid who would play school all the time an take my imaginary class everywhere. I rely heavily on God's guidance in my life especially when it comes to my career. He is the primary reason I am in the position I am today. Without him nothing is possible. What is the most helpful advice you’ve received? If you have too many priorities, you have none at all. As long as you complete your top 3 priorities, you have had a successful day. What is one piece of advice you would like to give the students at Holy Name? Do not let the fear of failing hold you back from trying. As long as you keep God first in all that you do, he will guide you to succeed.
