What is your role at Holy Name? Director of Advancement
Why Holy Name? Holy Name has a special place in the heart of my family, with a majority of my wife's family attending Holy Name. I felt called to serve here and find great pride in being involved in the school where my children will attend in the future.
What is your favorite thing about Holy Name thus far? The people by far. We have excellent staff members here who deeply care about serving our student body. It is wonderful to see their dedication to this institution and helping lead young adults to Christ in mind, body, and spirit.
What is your favorite part about your job? My favorite aspect of this job is the ability to build relationships within the community that will ultimately progress our institution forward.
Where is the most interesting place you have visited? Budapest, Hungary
What is one fun fact about yourself? I wrestled in college and coached collegiately for a few years at Baldwin Wallace University.
Who or what inspired you to be in your position? There are many things that inspired me to be in this role. More than anything else, I wanted to use the gifts and talents God gave me to make the world a better place. I am very happy I have the opportunity to do this for the Holy Name community.
Which books/authors or songs/artists have influenced you the most? One of my favorite books is "Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage" by Alfred Lansing. The main lessons I learned from this book is the importance of courage, resourcefulness, and resilience in the face of adversity.
What is the most helpful advice you’ve received? The word potential means that you haven't done anything yet. You have to go out into the world and make sure you live up to the potential God has given you!
What is one piece of advice you would like to give the students at Holy Name? Control the controllable things in your life. There will be times when things don't go your way or you don't get the results you want. Instead of focusing solely on the outcome, focus and find enjoyment in the process, and the results will follow.
