Holy Name is very excited to share that Carmen King ’22 has been selected as a College Board National African American Recognition Program Scholar! Carmen earned this designation based on her high academic achievement, and outstanding performance on the PSAT.
Carmen is a graduate of Saint Ambrose School in Brunswick. She is currently ranked third academically in the class of 2022, and is a member of National Honor Society. A talented soccer player, she has been a captain for the Lady Namers the past three years. Carmen is also the Senior Class Secretary, and is involved in Campus Ministry, Medical Careers Club, and the Holy Name Ambassador Program. She enjoys volunteering at St. Ambrose’s annual Thanksgiving Meal, and their Souper Bowl of Caring. Additionally, Carmen works at Panera.
Next fall, Carmen would like to attend the University of Dayton, The Ohio State University, or Ohio University. She aspires to be a Physician Assistant. We are very proud of you, Carmen!
