Athletic Hall of Fame
Nomination Information

1) The male or female candidate must have excelled in one or more sports as a student or coach at Holy Name High School.

2) The male or female candidate must have made major contributions to the school’s athletic program during his/her years at Holy Name High School.

3) An athlete must be an alumnus or alumna for a minimum of ten (10) years prior to being considered for induction. Individual coaches are not required to be ten (10) years from his/her coaching career.

4) Coaches, administrators and other similar candidates can be retired or currently coaching at Holy Name High School or another institution.

5) Prospective candidates will be evaluated on several criteria including:

– Demonstrated excellence in a particular sport (school record-holder, team MVP, all-district, all-Ohio, etc.). Additional consideration shall also be given to a candidate who excelled in multiple sports during his/her career.

– The candidate’s performance and achievements relative to the level of competition and other Holy Name High School athletes that participated in the sport during the candidate’s time at the school and from prior eras.

– The person nominating the candidate will attest to the integrity and good character of the individual as an athlete and student.

Nominations for the Holy Name Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023 must be in by Monday, April 3, 2023.
