Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences

Hello Holy Name High School Families,

On Monday, March 22, Holy Name will be holding virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. No parents/guardians should come to Holy Name for in-person conferences on that date; all of the conferences will be conducted online, via Zoom.

Parents/guardians must have individual virtual conferences scheduled in advance. To schedule a conference for March 22, you can do so by signing up on each individual teacher’s Sign Up Genius Form. The deadline to sign up for conferences is Friday, March 19 at 3 p.m.

Here are some additional details about the sign-up process, as well as the conferences themselves:

1. Each teacher has created a Sign Up Genius Form with available time slots on March 22. All of the sign-up forms can be found here:

2. You may sign up to meet with one of your student’s teachers, all of them, or none of them; parent-teacher conferences are not required.

You do not need to have a Sign Up Genius Account to sign up for conferences. However, when selecting a time slot, please make sure to indicate your email and your name. It would also be helpful if you would indicate your student’s name in the Comments section.

If a particular teacher has all of his/her appointment slots filled, please reach out to them via email so you can schedule another time to speak.

3. Once you are registered for a particular time slot, you should receive a confirmation email. You will receive a confirmation email for every teacher/time slot you schedule. Please keep these emails so you can reference the schedule you have created for yourself.

4. By Monday, March 22 (prior to 3 p.m.), you will receive, via email, a Zoom link from each teacher you have scheduled to meet with on Monday afternoon. This Zoom link is what you will use to login for the virtual conference.

5. Since it is likely someone else will be meeting with the teacher immediately before your assigned time slot, we recommend not joining the Zoom meeting until exactly when you are scheduled to meet (ex. If your time slot is 4 p.m. with Mr. Eiben, join right at 4 p.m.).

If you happen to join the meeting early, please know that you will be placed in a ‘Waiting Room.’ Once the teacher is finished speaking with the previous parent, he/she will let you in from the waiting room, and into the meeting.
