Holy Name works in partnership with Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) as well as Notre Dame College (NDC) to give our students the opportunity to participate in the College Credit Plus (CCP) program. CCP allows students to simultaneously earn high school and college credit while remaining on Holy Name’s campus for class.
Because of your student’s academic performance - earning a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher – he/she is being invited to consider participating in the program.
If your son or daughter has requested/will be requesting a CCP class for his/her 2022-2023 class schedule, please attend the meeting that relates to your student and the class(es) he/she would like to take (the classes are listed below). Important information will be discussed and key paperwork will be provided to each student/family about the entire process. Both parents and students are welcome. The meeting dates are:
**Tri-C CCP Meeting Main Gym Monday, February 7 7:00pm
NDC CCP Meeting Main Gym Monday, February 21 7:00pm
**If your student has already taken a CCP course via Tri-C, please know your attendance at this year’s meeting is not required. However, it is imperative that your student see me (Mr. Dodds) to obtain all necessary paperwork.
Please understand that having a 3.0 cumulative GPA does not mean that your student will automatically be accepted into this program. Other requirements include:
