This year, the Homecoming Dance will be on a Friday! Because of this, there will be no classes held on Friday during the day.
Our Homecoming Dance will take place outside, in a section of Holy Name’s back parking lot. Students are encouraged to wear a light jacket or sweater, if necessary.
Please remember that as previously announced, there is no rain date for the Homecoming Dance. If the administration decides the dance cannot be held outside due to inclement weather, we will move the dance inside to the Main Gym. Doors will be open to allow fresh air in, the air conditioning and air purifiers will be on, and masks will be worn.
The dance itself will be held from 6 to 9 PM. Students must arrive by 6:30 PM, and cannot leave sooner than 8 PM.
Parking will remain available for those who drive to the event. Students driving may park in the spots closest to the cafeteria. Limited parking will also be available in the back student lot.
When arriving to the dance, please plan on going through the Main School Doors off the front circle. You will check in at the front of the school building in the Main Foyer. The inside of the Sacred Heart Foyer will be open for bathroom use, and a photo booth will be there as well!
There will be coat rooms available for use in the Main Hallway. Because students will be coming in and out of the school building, masks are required for admittance into the dance.
The dress code for the dance is semi-formal. This includes khaki pants or dress pants, and a button-down collared shirt for gentlemen. Ladies may wear semi-formal dresses or attire and appropriate footwear.
Ladies, you will want to bring a change of shoes to the dance that are comfortable, i.e. sandals, flip flops, or flats. Shoes will be required when you are outside of the building.
If you have any questions about the Homecoming Dance specifically, please reach out to Mr. Clark (rclark@holynamehs.com) or Mrs. Ramella (mramella@holynamehs.com).
