Yesterday - Monday, October 10 - Holy Name observed World Mental Health Day. It was a great opportunity for both students and staff to remember taking care of their mental and emotional health is just as important as taking care of their physical well-being.
Small but meaningful activities took place throughout the day. During morning announcements, a relaxation breathing activity was held to help everyone destress and refocus. In Study Halls, students had the opportunity to do puzzles, color, and play card games. The most popular activity came during lunch periods, when anyone who wanted to could write down and share their self-care goal.
