Winter Signing Day Held for Seven Senior Student-Athletes

On Wednesday, February 1, we were proud to have seven Class of 2023 student-athletes participate in our Winter Signing Day. The following students will be continuing their athletic and academic careers next fall (grade schools in parentheses):

Emily Borchert (Assumption) - University of Mount Union, Women's Tennis

Abigail 'Abbey' Cepek (St. Thomas More) - Ursuline College, Women's Tennis

Luke Day (St. Bartholomew) - Gannon University (PA), Men's Soccer

Alyssa Krause (St. Columbkille) - Mercyhurst University, Women's Volleyball

Avery Krause (St. Columbkille) - Ohio Wesleyan University, Women's Volleyball

Izabella 'Izzy' Rodriguez (St. Bartholomew) - Capital University, Women's Basketball

Grace Sullivan (St. Peter) - Muskingum University, Women's Volleyball

Although we are very excited about all seven of them continuing their athletic careers, and have been grateful to have them represent Green Wave athletics, we are even more impressed with their academic achievements. All seven of them are members of Holy Name's National Honor Society!
