During the season of Lent, teachers recommended several students to write reflections that share why Lent is an important journey to take each year, and why we, as Christians, believe in Jesus's life, death, and Resurrection.
Some students wrote beautiful and illustrative poetry, while others wrote essays about Jesus's suffering on the cross and how it has impacted how they live their own lives. Many focused on the power of prayer, while others shared the sacrifices they make during Lent while reflecting on the sacrifices Jesus made for all of us.
The students who submitted entries were Connor Butina '22; Audrey Cary '21; Perpetua Fischer '21; Paige Hojdar '23; Nicole Jordan '22; Jessica Klonowski '22; Rieley McDonnell '24; Mollie Stracensky '22; and Damian Webb '24.
