Congratulations to senior Paul Palmer who will be attending Harvard University next fall.
Paul scored a 36 on his ACT and was recognized as a National Merit Commended Student.
He was drawn to Harvard by its smaller class sizes as well as the opportunities it offers to complete undergraduate research and access excellent resources.
After college, Paul plans to attend both law and business school to prepare for a career as an attorney. Farther into the future, he also has aspirations of running his own business.
Having joined the HN family for his senior year, Paul identifies CCP French as his favorite course. He describes it as having a great class culture and says, "One could call me a bit of a Francophile, and I would love to live in a Francophone country one day."
Paul also enjoyed AP Bio for its "complex yet electrifying" class material.
He urges underclassmen to remember that "...while school is essential, there is so much learning to be done outside of the classroom, and that can even be talking to the custodian in the hallway. Never take an opportunity for granted."
Congratulations to Paul, and stay tuned for more senior profiles!
