Congratulations to senior Jordon Lebron who will be attending Ohio University. Jordon earned a merit scholarship and direct admission to OU’s College of Business.
He selected OU because, he recalls, “It gave me the same feeling Holy Name did when I first visited—the feeling of home.” OU also offers everything Jordon feels he’ll need for his future, including opportunities to start his own business while still in school and the opportunity to live in Athens, “a small town with a lot of character and a lot of action.”
After college, Jordon hopes to live a financially free lifestyle as a large-scale entrepreneur and professional investor. He plans to invest in multiple asset classes, including real estate, commodities, and his own business. Jordon describes himself as someone who is driven and says he enjoys a challenge. He notes that these are among the qualities that position him for success as an entrepreneur. Jordon also mentions that a presidential campaign is among his aspirations.
Jordon’s favorite class at HN was AP U.S. Government and Politics with Mr. Clark. He credits his own learning outside of school—as well as the influence of family members and friends—with inspiring his future plans.
He encourages underclassmen to learn from their mistakes and to learn outside of school. Jordon describes his own efforts to live by this advice as “a life changer.”
Congratulations to Jordon, and stay tuned for more senior profiles!
