Congratulations to senior Agnes-Rose Fischer who has received the Castellano Scholarship—a four-year full-tuition scholarship—to John Carroll University.
At John Carroll, Agnes-Rose plans to major in the Classics, studying, for example, Latin, Greek, and mythology. She chose John Carroll for its impressive Classics program and its proximity to home.
Agnes-Rose identifies Philosophy as her favorite class at HN, but she also credits Latin, Forensics, and Writing for Publication with influencing her future plans.
Ultimately, Agnes-Rose hopes to work on archeological digs around the world.
She advises underclassmen to avoid procrastinating but also to engage in self-care. In particular, she says, “Make sure that you sleep because sleep-deprived you is not fun to deal with!”
Congratulations to Agnes-Rose, and stay tuned for more senior profiles.
