Robert Hammer '22 Named National Merit Commended Student

Holy Name is very proud to announce Robert Hammer ’22 has been named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program! Robert, who is a graduate of St. Bernadette School in Westlake, earned this recognition after performing well on the 2020 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test ® last October.

Robert is currently ranked fifth academically in the class of 2022. Outside of the classroom, he participates in Marching Band, Jazz Band, STEAM Club, Cooking Club, and National Honor Society. Additionally, Robert is an altar server at St. Bernadette and works several days a week at a car wash.

After graduation in May, Robert plans to study mechanical engineering. His top college choices are the University of Cincinnati, the University of Toledo, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Congratulations, Robert – we know you have a bright future ahead!
