What is your role at Holy Name? Director of Mission and Formation (Campus Minister)
Why Holy Name? Holy Name is home. As an alumnus (Class of '94), I felt God drawing me back here to where it all began.
What is your favorite thing about Holy Name thus far? Seeing more and more of our students coming to the Chapel to pray, whether it's the Rosary, Adoration, Mass, or just to check in with God during their day.
What is your favorite part about your job? I just feel so blessed to be a part of the faith journeys of our students and faculty. How great it is to be able to help bring people closer to Jesus!
What is one fun fact about yourself? I am an avid birdwatcher, and I'm ranked in the top ten all-time in Medina County.
Who or what inspired you to be in your position? When I first saw that Holy Name was seeking a full-time campus minister, I truly felt God was speaking to my heart. It was the dream job at the school I've always loved.
Which books/authors or songs/artists have influenced you the most? While I've read tons of history books (as I was a history teacher for 25 years), my recent reading has been a lot of C.S Lewis, Peter Kreeft, and the lives of the saints.
What is the most helpful advice you’ve received? Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
What is one piece of advice you would like to give the students at Holy Name? In the busyness of your lives, don't forget to take some time every day to be still and to talk with God.
