NWP's "Write Where You Are" Poetry Contest Winners!

The contest asked the students to write original poems about places they hold dear.

English teacher Mrs. Hirzel is a member of the NWP’s Leadership Council and organized the contest. Two independent judges evaluated the submissions based on each writer’s ability to capture the emotional significance of a single place.

Christina placed third, and Natalie and Kayla earned honorable mention.
