Cheer Squads Receive Numerous Awards at UCA Camp

Our cheerleaders are hard at work preparing for the upcoming season! They recently attended UCA Cheer Camp at Ashland University. During the camp they learned countless cheers, chants, and dances, along with learning many new stunting and tumbling skills.

Our Green Wave Squads took home many awards, but perhaps most impressively, they were given the Traditions Award. The young ladies were given this award because camp instructors and fellow campers believe Holy Name is a place with great traditions and values. We are so proud! Other awards given included:

JV: 1st Place in Camp Routine
Varsity: 2nd Place in Gameday Routine
