Ash Wednesday Mass: Finding Satisfaction through God

Our young men and women began the Lenten season with a Ash Wednesday Mass celebrated by Fr. Damian Ference, a 1994 Holy Name graduate and the Diocese of Cleveland's vicar for evangelization.

Fr. Damian stressed that we want and need to find satisfaction in life through God himself. He even used the song "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones to illustrate his point!

At the end of his interactive homily, Fr. Damian encouraged students to get their souls 'in shape' during Lent. By doing so, each person can flourish, become who they are meant to be, and take the love they have come to know out into the world.
